One year ago.....
One year ago today we helped our first baby to the bridge. We still miss her tons. We know what we did was right we just miss that silly greyhound of ours. Sadly I think we will be helping Jack soon as well. I know it is just a cycle of life, I just don't know how to explain it to Maddie. I tell her that Jack might have to go and keep Jess company soon in heaven. Maddie's response is that she will go find her. :(.

It seems like it has been so much longer than a year. Maddie will definitely miss Jack, but you will find a way to tell her. She will not understand but in time it will get easier for her.
ReplyDeleteJack has had a blessed life since he found you and Jeff. He is a lucky boy after everything he went through. I'm sorry it is close to his time. I look forward to seeing him when I get there and will miss petting his nose. These four legged guys and girls really grab our hearts. Thinking of you guys and Jack. He really had a great second half of his life thanks to you!
